Bob
Boehle, Soil Consultant
Bob Boehle is the soil consultant involved with this Alpaca
Grass project. He has been a consultant since 1965 and has
been associated with Brookside Laboratories during all this
time. He has been consulting with individual farmers and
growers in Illinois , Wisconsin , Iowa , and Indiana .
He has trained many consultants in Illinois as well as other
states. From 1972 through 2003, he was directly involved
with Brookside?s new consultant training school, teaching in
conjunction with one or two other consultants to help new
consultants get a start in their own businesses. He is still
teaching in the advanced training classes for experienced
consultants that are furthering their education
opportunities. In his own business in Illinois , he has
consulted with 30,000 plus acres of corn, soybean, wheat,
alfalfa, and grass hay production. Most clients are very
long term clients, using his services for 10 to 20 years.
Long term clients have been able to not only increase
yields, but also reduce the cost of their inputs because of
the improved soil balance they experience. The balance of
various soil nutrients is the goal of all the test work that
he does. Balanced soils improve crop production as well as
reduce costs of inputs. When these things occur, clients
continue to pay for the services offered because they are
enjoying increased profits |
